Parents are the primary catechists for their children.  They teach the faith though words and actions, everyday.  Our parish faith formation program is here to support parents in that role.  We offer programs for children grades PreK through 8 and preparation for the sacraments of Reconciliation, Eucharist and Confirmation.

Parents can choose one of the class sessions or take materials to use at home, as well as online resources available through our publisher.

          PreK through Sixth Grade:

Class sessions begin at 9:00am, then the children join the parish community during the 9:30am Sunday Mass. Parents! Join us at 9:00-9:30am in the parish library for casual conversation and faith sharing!

7th & 8th Grade and above are prepared for Confirmation with classes on selected Sundays.

Family Faith Formation (FFF)
Throughout the year there will be special social and service event opportunities for all ffamilies to participate in.   There are service projects, retreats, and other special events available throughout the year. We will have 6 Family Faith Formation gatherings throughout the school year on topics like Sacraments, Advent, Lent, Social Teaching and more.  Check the schedule at the right for more details.

Materials
Students in PreK through 6th Grade classes will be using materials published by
Pflaum Publishing Company. Their website includes a section for parents and children.

7th & 8th Grade use the Catholic Connections Handbook for Middle Schoolers and the Catholic Youth Bible, both from St. Mary's Press.

Safe Environment Training
All faith formation students are taught personal safety rules appropriate for their age level.
All catechists complete an online training course.
