  • PARENTING SEMINAR — SATURDAY, JULY 31ST

  • HELP ONE CHILD is offering a free parenting seminar on Saturday, July 31 from 9 am to 1 pm at the Menlo Park Presbyterian Church. This seminar is appropriate for parents of any child who has suffered trauma or loss, or volunteers who work with them.

    The presenter is Rev. Dr. James Witty, Founder of Care Corps International Children of Trauma and Loss. Dr. Witty has over thirty years experience in working with children from around the world who have suffered traumatic life experiences. He will offer valuable insight on the different types and levels of trauma, how does it affect the brain and emotions, how to identify the symptoms, and his faith-based approach to healing.     This is a group of women from parishes all around the Bay Area who come together on Thursday mornings at St. Mark's Church in Belmont to study God's Word and encourage one another to live God's Word.
